Hello and thank you for stopping by on my website!

I'm Elena (Elle is my nickname), I am originally from sunny Italy, and I have been living in the UK since 2003.

Physical movement has always been an important part of my life, as I have been dancing from the age of 5, studying ballet first then contemporary dance at

The London Contemporary Dance School and The Northern School of Contemporary Dance, performing professionally in theatres across the UK and abroad.

Following a back injury in 2010, I decided it was time for me to move away from the demands of stage life and I began to rehabilitate through Pilates and Yoga. And I am so grateful I did turn towards those mindful and healing disciplines, despite all the hard times I had to face, physically, emotionally, and mentally.

Since then, I completed my comprehensive teacher training in Pilates and remedial exercise in 2012 through

Alan Herdman, the pioneer of Pilates in the UK, and subsequently, I have obtained a Pre & Post-Natal certification through Body Control Pilates®.

I have also a 200hrs Yoga Teacher Diploma and meditation from Yogacampus,  which is internationally recognised by Yoga Alliance, REPs, and Independent Yoga Network.

I am a qualified Relax and Renew® Level 1 Restorative Yoga teacher and registered on https://www.restorativeyogateachers.com/

As well as teaching Pilates and Yoga I have been teaching dance for many years collaborating with The English National Ballet School, The Centre for Advanced Training (CATs) in London, Ipswich, and Nottingham, The London Studio Centre, and Danscentrum Vast in Sweden to mention a few.

I strongly believe in continuous learning and personal development, which is why I am always looking to develop my knowledge by attending conferences, courses, and workshops to expand my knowledge and offer quality and professionalism to all my students, helping them to move better and to feel better.
